Last night I finished a version of “The Selfishness in Man” for an upcoming George Jones tribute album to be released on Deer Lodge Records out of Portland, OR.
It’s the last of a ton of new material I’ve been working on and will be releasing over the next 6 months. Besides the GJ single, there’ll be an album of creepy gems recorded alone in a dark room, deep in the hills of North Carolina; look for this in November from Fluff and Gravy Records. Finally, early 2014 there’ll be a collection of brand new songs I recorded featuring friends from The Sadies, The Reigning Sound and Freakwater with album artwork by Jon Langford of The Mekons, also from Fluff and Gravy.
During this flurry of recorded activity there will be a noticeable drop in live shows.
