New Releases Coming Soon

This week we’re sick with joy to be back in the Northwest. We’re playing The Conor Byrne in Seattle on Friday with Lanford Black and, celebrating their new album, Not Amy. Saturday we’re back at The Secret Society with our friends The My Oh Mys and, from Santa Barbara, CA, The Mutineers.

July and August finds your Drunken Prayer in high output mode. After a Daytrotter session and a tour through the Rust Belt that includes stops in Louisville, Chicago, Detroit and Cleveland (see our calendar for updates), we’ll continue to finish up two new full-length albums to be released by Fluff and Gravy Records. In October a lo-fi collection of songs recorded by yours truly on a primitive analog 4 track machine and desktop software will rear its odd little head.  Meanwhile I’m also putting finishing touches on some gut-bucket originals, recorded in Asheville, NC and Portland, OR, featuring the band from our Christmas 7”,The Krektones.  That record features original artwork by the great Jon Langford and some frightening guitar by The Sadies’ Dallas Good. It’s scheduled for a Spring 2014 release. Stay close to DrunkenPrayer.com as the drop dates near for more details.

Stick around Congregation, things are getting interesting…
