I was going to send you a re-cap of this last tour; the big time we had, the people we met. That can wait given the circumstance. Again the ongoing national tragedy that is gun violence hit home as I pulled into the driveway and got the terrible news from my teary-eyed wife.
I wrote “Sunderland” about my own quiet fear for my 2nd grader’s safety, and my admiration of the bravery he shouldn’t need to walk peacefully into his community.
In a world torn asunder it’s the innocent that too often fall into the cleft that’s left behind.
